There was never a Halloween when you didn't find a box of these (or five) in your bag. -

Tart n tinies were so much happiness and only available at Halloween -

The candy sucked but we all loved the coffins, garbage cans, and other shapes the hard sugar came in -

These were pretty much one of Halloween's biggest disappointments. -

These weren't worth much on the trade market until you got to school, then they were valuable because they were easily hidden in class (you could suck them undetectable) -

Every not and then you see a jar of these, gratefully they don't come in snack size bags anymore so you don't risk opening up your loot sack to find this monstrosity -

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worst, there were little boxes of candy corn for the convenience of throwing it out on kids -

And even back then, people had some creative ideas of what to do with that crap -

Finding dots was really disappojnting, they were like inferior gummy candies, strange, off flavor, and one of the last things to be eaten (only out of desperation) -

When you made the mistake of trick or treating the really old people, you wound up with this -

THESE were major booty unless you forgot about them or your mom didn't have time to take you to get them. The smart and savvy folk used to buy these and use them for themselves. Those McDonalds sundaes were so good and the perfect after school snack. -

THESE were another huge and happy find. Only available at Halloween, they had the best flavor and nothing ever compared -

The kids of our grandparents' generation loved skybars and looked forward to eating them even after Halloween -

More disappointment, even back in "the old days" these weren't treats kids got excited about -

Old people loved giving these and telling you to be "very careful" -

Sadness on a stick, these were microscopic, smaller than a lifesaver and had a horrible aftertaste. They were one of the cheapest possible things to give -
